The Starlink Standard Actuated Kit Gen 2 aims to provide reliable internet connectivity to all regions of Kenya via satellite connectivity. In terms of performance, the kit supports download speeds between 25 to 220 Mbps and upload speeds of 5 to 20 Mbps depending on your subscription plan. The latency ranges from 25 to 60 milliseconds. These speeds can support a range of internet activities, from browsing to streaming.
The Wi-Fi provided by the router is Wi-Fi 5, supporting the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. It operates on dual bands and uses 3 x 3 MIMO technology, which helps in maintaining stable connections. The router can wirelessly connect up to 128 devices, making it suitable for large households or small businesses.
